Wood Duck Drake The Wood Duck is a yearly visitor to our area in south central Wisconsin. This beautiful duck nests in cavities of trees, or in boxes made by birdlovers throughout the region, and may lay as many as 15 eggs. Duck is hand painted, appliquéd and free motion stitched onto henna and fiber reactive dyed silk. Surrounding silk is printed with fabric dyes and paints. back to gallery home
