Painted Turtle I particularly enjoy using nontraditional processes on fabric, resulting in interesting combinations of texture and quality of line. Here, the turtle is printed using a copper etched plate printed directly onto silk charmeuse. The contrast of the line and aquatint in the etching creates a unique glimpse of the turtle as he swims among a school of trout.
